I've always been one of those haters who thinks Uggs are the ugliest things ever! OK, they're not as ugly as Toms but they're close.
Sorry, I know you all hate me now.
But, I also realize that Uggs are ridiculously comfortable and fabulous for winter, so I totally get the craze. Plus I think these are actually pretty stinkin' cute.
BUT, today when I read on the Huffington Post that Uggs were coming out with a WEDDING LINE, yes a wedding line. I sort of wanted to cry.
Bailey I Do! |
Sparkles I Do! |
Fluff Flip Flop I Do! |
Please tell me I'm not alone in thinking this is a complete insult to shoes and weddings and FASHION for that matter!
I love me some Uggs, but I totally have to agree with you...those are terrible! I did wear my regular Uggs for the walk to the venue, but definitely not down the aisle!
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of Uggs and my jaw dropped when I read this post. Uggs WEDDING line? Ugghh....
ReplyDeleteXO Lourdes
UGH! ewwww grosss!!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love Uggs especially in the MN winters but that wedding line? Who the heck thought of that?? Maybe if you're getting married in the dead middle of winter AND if your honeymoon is going to be in Antarctica it would work out. Otherwise...absolutely not.
ReplyDeleteBAHAHHA- Okay, I like Uggs AND Toms, but a wedding line is going tooooo far. I DO hate seeing Uggs with short skirts and other ridiculous things. I wear them in the winter, under jeans, to keep those puppies warm lol!
ReplyDeleteOmg! You know I love TOMs and as a MNer I have a necessity for Uggs... But wedding Uggs?!?!? Sooooo not ok!!!
ReplyDeleteAbout the only thing I can think of is I got married in December and those first ones would have been kinda cute in some outdoor snowy pics. But for the whole day? Hell no. And since most people get married during the warmer months....the whole line seems pretty stupid.
ReplyDeleteI read this article too. They're comfy but UGLY!
ReplyDeleteI agree- ugly but comfy. I do wear a pair in the winter and keep my toes toasty... But for wedding attire- gross!
ReplyDeleteUnless you're getting married in the snow, these should NEVER be worn.
ReplyDeleteBahahahhha!! I totally have a blog scheduled for tomorrow about this...and think the same exact thing!
ReplyDeleteew. way too far.
ReplyDeleteAll I have to say to this is WOW. Just WOW. And NO! Just NO!
ReplyDeleteI agree! This is just insanity! I mean I'll admit, I wear them in the colder months with a casual outfit. Those slippers look comfy and soft but for HOME not a wedding!
ReplyDeleteThose are GROSSSSSS! But my Grandma totally has the gray ones. Isn't that the cutest thing ever? :)
ReplyDeleteI was never a fan of Uggs but I have to admit the knit ones are cute and they are the only pair I would even consider getting! Not for nothing the whole Uggs for wedding shoes...REALLY?!?
ReplyDeleteNot so much
I love Uggs, but def not wedding Uggs.
ReplyDeletePuke.
My daughter has a pair of the sequence ones. She's a teenager, that's prob the only acceptable age for sparkly Uggs. Blinding really.
they are sooooooooooooooo ugly
ReplyDeleteI think Toms are the uglies shoes!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd wedding Uggs...are you serious?!?! Ridiculous!
