A Weekend of Epic Proportions

Our summer started with an absolute BANG and the rest of the summer weekends better bring it because this first one is going to be tough to beat!

We started off the weekend celebrating my grandma's 81st birthday! We had a lovely family dinner at Kincaids complete with martinis.

Saturday we spent the whole day with our best buds on campus, in the sunshine, with cocktails. It was such a fun day and even better night as we got to see Dustin Lynch, Thomas Rhett, Randy Hauser, Florida Georgia Line and LUKE BRYAN at TCF Bank Stadium. The show was amazing, hanging with our friends was amazing and overall it was one of the more fun days I've probably ever had! Definitely feeling a little blue that it's over.

Sunday morning we woke up surprisingly bright eyed and bushy-tailed {I guess being kidless and sleeping until 10am will do that to you} and it was a good thing too because we had a BIG job to complete. We were so honored to get to baptize our Godson, Wesley, yesterday. It was a very special morning and my heart is so full knowing I get to play such an important role in this sweet boy's life!

After a post-baptism brunch and a nap we met up with my dad and siblings to celebrate Father's Day. It was the perfect way to end a perfect weekend!
