My Belly {33 weeks}

Nugget this week...
*is keeping her eyes open when she's awake
*is starting to coordinate breathing with sucking and swallowing
*her bones are hardening

Size of the baby?
Over 4 pounds and 17 inches long!

Total Weight Gain/Loss?
24.6 pounds, which means I lost 2 pounds this week, which is weird.

Maternity Clothes?
The weather is changing in Minnie and I don't think my cotton maxi dresses are going to cut it anymore. SO, I have to bite the bullet and buy some fall friendly maternity clothes.

Stretch marks?
Nope!

Best Moments?
Getting our maternity pictures back & going to a breastfeeding class with my Beeb.

Movement?
Oh yes, still an active little girl. Now that she's bigger it feels more like rolling than it does fluttering and her booty still loves my ribs.

Food Cravings?
Grapes! I can't get enough red grapes.

Anything making you queasy or sick?
Just meat...which I avoid, so NOPE!

What I miss?
Sleeping on my tummy.

Nausea/Vomiting?
Thankfully, no.

Symptoms?
Sore back & terrible allergies, but other than that I'm feeling pretty good.

Labor signs?
I keep getting period-ish feeling cramps that sort of come and go, not sure if that qualifies as Braxton Hicks or not...

Gender?
BABY GIRL.

Belly Button In or Out?
It still in, but Jason is sure it's going to pop out any time now.

Wedding rings On or Off?
The bad boys are still ON! I get some swelling when I walk but other than that my rings fit just as they did before.

Sleep?
Other than one terrible night that I was up battling my allergies I have been sleeping great.

What I'm looking forward to?
My girlfriend Christina's wedding this weekend and seeing my doctor on Monday!

Our Maternity Photos!

I absolutely HAVE to start this post by saying that if you live in the Twin Cities and need a photographer, you would be NUTS not to work with Sara Jayne Photography.
Sara {and her hubby John} are dear friends of ours and I wholeheartedly believe that SJ is one of, if not thee, best photographers in the state. She is so fun and easy to work with, she is incredibly creative, has a fabulous "eye" and has a unique style that she adds to each and every photo she takes.  I know I am biased but I truly would not recommend someone {even a friend} if I didn't 100% stand behind their work.

A couple of weekends ago Jason, Bailey and I met up with Sara and John at Lake Harriet to take some maternity pictures. I waffled a lot on whether or not I wanted to get them done, as fun as a growing belly is, I'm not feeling my most beautiful and I wasn't sure I would even like any of the pictures. Well, I was wrong and I am so happy that we got these done. This is such an exciting time in our lives and I am so happy that I have these beautiful photos to remember it all by.

Weekend Recap: Football, Football & a Wedding

Another busy weekend has come and gone for the Fawvers.

Friday night we went to the Eden Prairie High School football game to watch my little sister
and the EP Dance Team dance at halftime.

Saturday morning we were up early to tailgate and cheer on the Gophers to another victory! It was a GORGEOUS day and my Goph's are undefeated!
My dad hooked me up with a rickshaw ride to the stadium {which is only two blocks away from our lot} but it was so fun! And way faster than me waddling my way there.

Saturday evening, Megan, one of my best friends from high school got married. It was a gorgeous wedding and Megan has never looked so beautiful and so happy.
The wedding was filled with dear friends from high school and their parents, so it was sort of a big reunion. It was so fun seeing everyone and catching up and playing in the photo booth.
please excuse the iPhone pictures of the pictures.

Sunday I was able to sleep in, which was beyond glorious! I haven't been able to sleep in past 8am in three weeks, so the extra sleep was much appreciated. I woke up and did some cleaning and then brought the puggle on a super long (almost 5 miles!) walk.
The walk felt great but nearly killed me, so I relaxed, read my book and ultimately took a nap afterwards. Then I was off to my Beeb's house to take some casual family photos of her, Jake and the pups.
The pics turned out adorable, but you'll have to check out her blog to see them!

Finally, last night we went to my dad's house for dinner and the season premiere of
Obsessed with this show. Who else watched?!

My Belly {32 weeks}

You'll have to excuse the photo--I'm not wearing a lick of make up because I cried it all off watching this guy on the X Factor...
I have seriously never laughed so hard. I watched it 4 times and made Jason come upstairs and watch him. Even watching it again this morning I am near tears. SO.DAMN.FUNNY.

Anyways, back to business.
Nugget this week...
*is gaining roughly half a pound a week
*has toenails, fingernails and hair!
*her skin is becoming soft & smooth as she plumps up

Size of the baby?
Baby girl is somewhere around 16 inches long and weighs almost 4 pounds!

Total Weight Gain/Loss?
26 pounds.

Maternity Clothes?
Still a mix...but stuff is starting to really get small.

Stretch marks?
Not a one.

Best Moments?
I was back at my sorority this week helping out with recruitment and it was so fun to catch up with old friends. It literally felt JUST like old times, and it made me SO excited and happy that I am having a little girl.

Movement?
Oh yes, baby girl loves shoving her little butt up into mom's ribs. Plus there's all the normal flutters & kicks.

Food Cravings?
Still on a sweets kick

Anything making you queasy or sick?
Still can't do meat...well, except pepperoni, for some reason that doesn't gross me out.

What I miss?
I miss my clothes fitting normal. Getting dressed is such a chore these days. I think pregnant ladies should have a free pass from society to wear sweatpants and t-shirts for 9 months.

Nausea/Vomiting?
Nope!

Symptoms?
Super sore back, some light cramping, shortness of breath, fatigue!

Labor signs?
I had some unpleasant symptoms that lead my doctor to believe there could be a chance of preterm labor beginning. Luckily, I was in to see her and she was able to do a cervical check and everything is still 100% closed up--thank goodness!  AND, as of right now baby is head down! Wahoo! Now hopefully she stays that way.

Gender?
BABY GIRL.

Belly Button In or Out?
Still IN.

Wedding rings On or Off?
STILL ON and no signs of coming off, yet.

Sleep?
I've been sleeping a lot better lately and it's taking me less time to fall asleep which is great....I attribute that to being so damn tired all the time.

What I'm looking forward to?

A Belated Weekend Recap

This past weekend was another busy one...which it's looking like all of September's weekends are going to be.

Friday night we thankfully had a night to just hang out. We ate tacos, pre-made our tailgate food and were in bed early.
We decided to add something new to the tailgating menu and tried a breakfast burrito recipe I had dreamed up. They were a hit! And I must say, pretty-darn-tasty!

Saturday was the first Gopher home game of the season, so we were up and out the door by 7:30am and on our way to tailgate.
It was a GORGEOUS day, perfect for getting iced AND the Gophers won 44-7! 2-0 baby!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday night was my girlfriend Christina's Bachelorette Party!!! I am a bridesmaid in Christina's wedding NEXT weekend and couldn't be more excited!
We started the night at Chino Latino for dinner and then the girls took over Uptown...I, however, was home and in bed by 11:30pm because I can't quite hang like I used to.

Sunday morning I was up and at church with my dad and grandma and then the whole fam-bam got together at the Country Club for brunch...which is always a blast when the whole clan gets together.
After brunch I was able to squeeze in a quick hour long nap before meeting with our friends Sara & John for some maternity pictures! I've made it no secret that I firmly believe Sara Jayne is the best photographer in the world and the sneak peaks she's been sending me from the shoot confirm that even further. If you follow me on Instagram you probably saw the super cute pic of Bailey & the belly, but just because I love you all so much here's another to hold you until I have them all.

Sunday night we went to Jason's dad's house for dinner...he makes the BEST homemade pizza! So we stuffed ourselves past capacity and watched some football. :)
